Capitalize first Letter

Post by Stadi »

I just discovered Media Monkey today and am awestruck! It's an incredible piece of software and no doubt I'm gonna use it from now on.

On my HD I have a collection of about 20'000 MP3-Tracks (it's only the incoming stuff, as soon as they're tagged and renamed they will be archieved on cdr). Up until now I used Tag & Rename to first tag the files with whatever information is "hidden" in the filenames, then I add the missig tags manually and finally I rename the whole lot. Up until now, no problem with Media Monkey.

Now comes the trick: because a lot of files are just lowercase, I use the "Capitalize first letter" option of Tag & Rename during the tagging process, so I get neatly named files. To be clear, here's an example:

Original Filename:
edenbridge [2001 - arcana] 05 - fly on a rainbow dream

After tagging and renaming with "capitalize first letter":
Edenbridge - Arcana\05 - Fly On A Rainbow Dream

Is there a possibility hidden somewhere in Media Monkey to do the same? And if not, will it come in a future version? This feature is very important for me, because it saves me a lot of time.

sm:)e!

It isn't possible yet, however we will try to add support for it soon.
