Hi there
I've set up a MM service on my desktop with a view to streaming my music collection to my Android phone whilst I'm out and about.
I've configured the firewall properly and have forwarded the port on my router so that the public IP points to the DLNA server.
I purchased the MediaMonkey Pro App for my Android but can't see a way to manually enter an IP or hostname - it only seems to want to use Network Discovery to find devices, which won't work as I'm accessing over a WAN.
I imagine the workaround for this would be to set up a VPN to allow for network discovery, but I don't want to do that - I want to be able to just turn MM on play my music when I'm driving about.
Anyone know if this is possible? Seems like too much of a glaringly obvious feature omission that it must be by design (for security I imagine?) Either way, I'd really like to find a solution.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Simon

It's not possible on MMA yet, the feature hasn't been added.
