Hi,
So I've been using MM for a few years now, but just recently discovered the android version an especially the wifi sync. A few details first and foremost:
Media Library Size: roughly 160GB
Device: HTC One m9, Android v6.0
200GB SanDisk micro SD-Card (yes they exist and yes, my phone supports those)
Goal:
Have my whole library synced up to my phone through wifi.
Issue:
So my issue is the following: The whole sync process takes days - literally. I started the complete sync on Jan 29th. Had my phone and PC on over night and day until today, Mo Feb 1st. I had to leave the house, thus the wifi a few times over the weekend, but I was surprised that the sync process does not break up, but rather just idles until the signal recovers and so does the sync then.
But then today when I came back from work and only had like 5000 tracks or so remaining, all of a sudden the sync process was gone... and now the library is all weird anyways, because the local database of the app somehow doesn't realise that there are any files really. That's another weird thing - all files that I thought have been synced over the days are not on the SD nor the phone's internal storage. Looks like it didn't do anything after all?!
(TLDR)
So, long story short:
Any recommendations on how I should tackle my problem? How would you try to accomplish what I have described above? Hope you guys have some ideas. Thanks in advance!!
Cheers,
AhNe

Re: WiFi Sync to SD - 160GB
I would suggest that you sync in:
a) Batches eg. Sync Playlists only and you organize playlists so that you sync 5k-10k tracks at time
b) Sync one track using Wi-Fi, then connect SAme SD Card to PC and sync Rest (it should detect profile)
Let us know what your test show.
Personally I would not trust my library to one SDCard, but then again it is individual.

Re: WiFi Sync to SD - 160GB
Hey,
Sorry, almost forgot the thread.
So I ended up doing almost what you said. Set up a few playlists and synced only those. And I did the first batch via cable. No instead of throwing all of it over, I only sync partially (favourites and playlists) and look into other solutions for streaming all other songs online somehow.
Guess 160 GB is still a lil too much. Because even if I would sync all over in batches, let alone the time it would take to verify the files when doing another sync would take way too long for doing it like daily.
Cheers!
