playlists, ratings (and some tracks) disappear

This has happened to me on several occasions:

I'm playing along, I hit pause, and when I hit play again, MMA will not play. Skip does nothing. Upon investigation, this is because my Now Playing list is suddenly empty. In fact, every playlist is empty, even though they were all fine the last time I synced (and when I hit Shuffle Play on one of them this morning). Also, If I go to the Ratings area, all I have is 2636 unrated tracks -- this morning, I has ~5500 tracks rated from 1.5 through 5 stars, and only about a dozen unrated.

Now, I know not to panic, because this has happened several times, and as soon as I sync, everything will be fine. And I won't have to resync hundreds of tracks back onto my phone - MMA will miraculously find them during sync.

However, it's pretty annoying until I can get back to my computer. All my playing info since the last sync is gone, as well as any rating changes I may have made.

Oh, well, now this is interesting - I just checked again, and my number of unrated tracks is increasing - it's up to 3556. I never noticed that before. The spinner at the top is still going. I'll have to see what happens when the total reaches the correct number. -- ok, it seems to have found all my tracks, but the ratings and playlists have not returned.
