Volume levelling not working on Android

Post by d9amic »

MMW 4.1.14.1813 on Windows 8.1
MMA 1.2.0.0624 on Android 4.1.2 (Samsung Galaxy S2)

MMW volume coefficients are calculated and test playlist (with files requiring -10dB and +8dB adjustments) plays with volume levelled in MMW. Playlist was synced to MMA, but with "options | level volume" checked, does not play with volume levelled in MMA.

More info: the Android device was synced both via USB and wireless. Over USB, the songs in the playlist synced but metadata such as song ratings did not sync. Over wireless, the songs and the ratings metadata synced, but still no volume levelling when played on the Android device.

Anyone have any ideas for how to make this work?

Thanks

Just tested this on a couple of devices with MMA 1.3.0.677 (beta) and it seems to be working fine.

Note: 1.3.0 displays leveling information within properties. Try to verify whether the information has been synced. Also fyi, the degree of leveling is limited as described here:
