Sync location

Always had files sync to the \Music on SD card mounted while still in the phone. Seems like now they're going to \Android\data\com.ventis.android.mediamonkey\files\Music.

Is the change expected and intentional (and what's more important, permanent)? Or is it a bug?

As a first step you should update to latest MMA/MMW Beta version.

So is it, indeed, a bug? Going back through the change log I don't see anything related to sync location specifically.

Hi,
Something similar was fixed in recent betas, as it is similar to your issue mostlikeit was fixed already. If not than we will dig deeper to see why it is not already fixed.

To clarify Peke's statement: it _is_ a bug if content is synced to the application folder ( \Android\data\com.ventis.android.mediamonkey\files\Music) in most cases.

The internal folder is normally only used if MMA has a storage access problem--i.e. if it doesn't have rights to /Music or SD:/Music (and in the LG V20, that should not be the case since it's running Android 7.0 and on Android 4+ MMA prompts the user to grant access to any storage location that it requires).
