2081: Keeps trying to read files ..
Little circle keeps spinning at the top with the message below 'reading files ...'. As long as MMW is on

FWIIW I don't see this.dtsig wrote:Little circle keeps spinning at the top with the message below 'reading files ...'. As long as MMW is on
It would good if the message that you mention stated what it was reading
ie. reading files from your Google Play library
or reading files for missing album art
etc
Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.

Are you still able to replicate or it was random?dtsig wrote:I simply started when i started MM5 .. Started one of the now playing files and noticed it was running
Which view was active after the start?
I remember that I saw this once, but I am unable to replicate it now and trying to figure what triggers the issue.
Re: 2081: Keeps trying to read files ..
I was in the all tracks view in a play list running auto dj. I am not seeing it now but will try to recreate

Re: 2081: Keeps trying to read files ..
I tried this twice including this morning and it is working as should. Let's just forget it unless I can come up with a consistent problem

Re: 2081: Keeps trying to read files ..
I was able to trigger this by editing auto-playlists. As described at

Re: 2081: Keeps trying to read files ..
Unable to do any testing with the 2083 version as the little wheel spins forever. UI locked. Remains that way following reboot.
I think that I triggered it by trying to sync from my Google Play library. That was approximately a week ago.
I allowed several debug emails to submit to you.

Barry,
When you see error dialog show you have option to Copy LOG ID. Can you please nect time copy ID and write it here so that we can directly pair it with this Topic and better analyze the log itself?
