MediaMonkey can help you modify your media files in a number of ways. Editing is available for files on local, external and networked storage, but isn't available for files accessed via DLNA Servers.

The following methods to edit your media files are available:



  • Converting files, MediaMonkey can convert media files from one format to another.
  • Volume Leveling, MediaMonkey can be used to level the volume of your media files so they all play at the same volume.


  • Update Tags, MediaMonkey can save database values to the files tags.
  • Clean tags, MediaMonkey can clean ID3 tags used in MP3 files from your media files.
  • Managing duplicates, MediaMonkey can help you manage duplicates in your MediaMonkey Library.
