Hitting Win-D restores hotkey/multimedia key functionality. Not a fix, but certainly an easy workaround for now.

I'm on a domain, and after XX many minutes our screensaver kicks in which also locks the computer. When I return and type in the password to get back into my session, all hotkey functions fail to function.

I can reproduce this by simply locking my screen with lock computer and log back in immediately and they're all dead. This on 3.0.2.1134.
