I've been looking for a new music manager app to replace iTunes. I came across some comparitive reviews that were very favorable towards MediaMonkey. However, after taking a closer look, running into this issue, and then seeing that there was no intention of correcting it - I am scrapping MediaMonkey from my list of apps to consider.
It's a shame, and I don't understand why there is such resistance to addressing this issue - it seems to be common sense that the way MM is currently set up to work with hotkeys is significantly flawed. But until and unless hotkeys are properly supported, MM is not the app for me.
Just my two cents.
