Actually LL I've found that sotring an .m3u in its own fodler makes no difference to whether it scans the tracks (provided track references remain valid, of course).

No, unless you store it in it's own folder you can't rescan individual files in MediaMonkey.

You could also just select the M3U file type to be added and deselect all others (MediaMonkey will still run through all files in the folder, but will only add playlists).

Thanks, but is it possible to add/rescan an .m3u file, that is, just the playlist index, not the tracks?
