Hmm, yes, I guess that would work. But I don't understand what MM being used to sync MP3 players has to do with modifying the interface for selecting what albums/genres to sync.
Maybe I wasn't clear in my original post: I have a "portable player" that I sync with, and I want to easily select all of the albums (or genres) and then unselect a few of them. My request is merely for a modification to the UI of the Tools > Options > Portable Devices dialog.
I'd be happy with a "Select All" button next to the "Unselect All" button (although that's not the most elegant solution). What I would have to do now is expand the Albums tree and do {DOWN ARROW} {SPACE} {DOWN ARROW} {SPACE} {DOWN ARROW} {SPACE} about 900 times, carefully skipping the five albums I don't want to sync. I'd like to avoid that.
