Lowlander ... I'm with you. I have been in development since 1980 and have seen time and time again what happens when you write in 'limits' to your routines. Perfect example was the Y2K fiasco ... it was a great way for some of us to make a lot of money, but it really was an unecessary thing.
In this case, 32 vs 64 ... what could someone be thinking here. Only if you have a hardware limitation (address bus) should there be a limit. And the SW should be able to automatically determine what it can and can't do. I believe that SG3 is capable of accessing 64gig.
'specially with the speed of change in this (phone, tablets and computers) environment.
