Update: I deleted all my music off my 64GB external SD card and allowed MMA to sync. The initial 'Analysing sync list' takes around an hour, sometimes more. Synchronising took significantly longer. After around 12 hours, I went to bed and it was on 14,182 songs. When I woke this morning, it had stopped at 15,673. I've set it against to sync but the analysing is still taking ages. All of this is done over wifi sync.
My expectation is to be able to automatically connect to the home network wirelessly and MM sync any new music/podcasts to my phone. Something that could take a few minutes, maybe even an hour. If this isn't what MM has in mind, then I'll find another solution.
Here some information:
I have 23,000 songs in M4A format.
MMA version: 1.0.4.0118
MMW version: 4.1.0.1629
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S2 I-9100
I have a secondary router in my room, about 8ft away from computer desk, so my phone has full signal anywhere in my room. The router is connected wired to the main router downstairs, using gigabit Ethernet. N rated router.
