MMW: 1636
MMA: 127
I have reported this before, but saw no discussion so I guess that it is just me. Is there anything I can do to further document this, as it makes MMA unusable for me.
There are tracks skipped in nearly every album that I play. Usually multiple tracks skipped. I say "nearly every album" because I haven't checked every album that I have played via MMA, but every album that I have checked, skipped some tracks during playback. I have retried some of the albums, and the same tracks are skipped upon replay.
If I switch across to BubbleUPnP using same android device, same WiFi, same tracks, same TOD, same media server ... the album plays through all tracks w/o problem.
If I tap on a missed track on the MMA list, available from the Now Playing screen, the track then plays ok.
Nexus 7. MMA playing from MMW server via UPnP.
Nexus screen off, MMA was left sitting at the Now Playing screen.
Playing flac files, w/o transcoding.
Source is MMW, but the same thing happens when the source is the DLNA player on my NAS. ... BubbleUpnp is not gettingtranscoding either ... it reports that it is playing a flac file.
MMW confirms the tracks played and missed by MMA (last playdate). I can also see that the tracks are missing from the MMW LFM scrobble cache, as I have it set to cache scrobbles.
I confirm that BubbleUpNp plays all tracks ok via MMW lastplaydate, or SimpleLastfm when playing from the DLNA server on my NAS.
AFAIK I have no problems with my WiFi link. I use the tablet extensively and haven't noticed other issues.
I have a Sonos system, and the Sonos Zones act as WiFi hotspots. My tablet is connected to the Sonos network.

The Sonos units are wired to my router via Ethernet. There is a Sonos unit in each of the rooms I am testing in, so the WiFi only has to travel a few feet.
