Hi,
Have you able to replicate behavior after Restart?

If it happens again after restart, please copy persistent.json file, compress it and attach to support ticket.

That file contains info about MM UI and can help us determine what caused the issue.

I just ran into the same issue with 2024.2.0.3150

I don't understand how I accidentally invoked it, but MM5 covered everything including the task bar. I finally had to kill it using ctrl/alt/del and Task Manager.

Whatever programming option invokes this should be rethought and the implementation redone.

Or perhaps it is a bug.

I am working with support on this issue now and have a better understanding of how to reproduce this. It happens after long play times (meaning hours of nonstop play back). Originally I could not reproduce the issue on a fresh install of version 5.0.2.2531. However, after running Auto-DJ for hours, the issue surfaced. I run MM5 against an Auto-DJ playlist non-stop. The average user probably does not do this.

I just stopped MM5 and closed it, installed MediaMonkey_5.0.1.2433.exe over the latest installation, and this issue is now 100% gone with all of my settings preserved.

Please update and continue this in your Support Ticket, so that the developer is aware of this.

Even after deleting the persistent.json file, it is happening again after making some (but not all) of the changes I made previously.

Sent in a new support ticket. It looks like after deleting persistent.json, I lost all window customizations I set including the skin change. I am making the same changes again that could be introducing the issue. I am making all windows larger, since my screen resolution is pretty big. All of this is going into this json file that is making it bigger.

Please send your persistent.json to support. To resolve, close MediaMonkey, rename persistent.json to persistent.json.old and start MediaMonkey.

It just happened again shortly after restarting. I am seeing giant question marks again.

Thanks for your post.

The only applications that will open any of these .SVG files are my web browsers. All of them open each one super-sized. Photoshop CS6 will not open one. It's only the WASAPI config screen that is experiencing this issue. I saw this all over with the earlier beta. If I open the config screen any way, it shows with the super-sized icons. I can shut down MM5 then restart it, and it will revert to correct behavior.

It is trying to show you this screen.

But it appears that it is just displaying super-sized versions of the icons at the top right corner for some reason.
This does not happen for me. I am running the latest version, 2531 also.

the correct screen can be triggered two ways:
  1. select WASAPI, and then press the Configure button
  2. double click the WASAPI option
The same thing happens either way?

The icons are probably .svg files. You have any graphics apps on your PC that works with those?

It looks like what's happening is the screens are being incorrectly sized for reasons unknown. When I click the about button, this appears:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/9yp ... keover.png

If you see where my mouse pointer is at the bottom left, that is actually an OK button. I am able to click it with my mouse to close this giant X screen.
