When adjusting the scaling I noticed that even though 150% is recommended there is also a warning about it messing up things with some programs and it being difficult to fix later.

Thanks--we'll have a look, but fyi, I've also tested at 3440 x 1440, with both scaling set to 150% and Accessibility Text Scaling set to 150% without issue. (btw, you were right--the text scaling settings in Accessibility seem to be independent).

Please capture this issue in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?t=86643

Hopefully that will give better insight as to why this happens on your setup.

Open run: (Windows Key + R)
Type: %APPDATA%
press enter
Open folder mediamonkey there, and the file should be there.

Is that file in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey 5

if so I do not see it.

Can you please close MediaMonkey, rename persistent.json to persistent.json.old and then start MediaMonkey? Does the problem persist?

Can you make a printscreen of how to menu's look truncated, and upload it to imgur.com and post a link back?

23H2

This system was built over a year ago but I kept using an old system (did not want to mess with the migration). I installed MediaMonkey_5.0.4.2693 but I did not really change any settings and notice the problem back then. I recently decided to deploy the new machine and updated to 2095. That was the first time I noticed the issue.

Is this Windows 11 23H2 or 24H2?

I have tested it on 23H2 with all updates, and with both settings you said you changed, my menu's look good.
I kept all programs open, when i did the changes..

For dev's: Could upgrade from 5.0.5.2695 to 2024 cause any issues with an old json file or something like that?

When I change Display -> Scale & Layout -> Scale -> Text Size to 150% it does not change the Accessibility Text Size setting. They appear independent.

I close all programs when making changes.

Hi,

I've tested this on Win11 (2560x1080, text scale 150%) and am not seeing any issues.

Note: Setting -> System -> Display -> Scale & Layout -> Scale -> Text Size is a shortcut to the accessibility setting. Maybe try via that approach?

p.s. does restarting MM after you've made the change solve anything?
