Check if in MMA library settings there are Grayed Storage entries.

Large amount of data showing as "other" after syncing?

by chersrpague06 » Thu Jan 22, 2026 4:48 pm

Hello, I've been struggling in getting my dad's entire music library to sync to his hiby4 (with a 1 TB SD card). I finally got it to sync after many tries, and now it is showing a large amount of data as "Other". It is also showing that the SD card is filled up in the visual, but you can see there are still hundreds of GBs available. Another issue is when I unplug the Hiby and replug it in, it does not recognize that it already has an existing device profile and creates a new one which also causes issues with Syncing. Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong?
