Ok, I finally had the chance to install winamp with modern skin and try this out.

The left panel (library) which seems to have a standard scrollbar scrolls correctly with virtual scrolling both with "scroll item under pointer" and "Scroll selected item" set.

The other panels don't scroll, but if I click on the scrollbar once (the scrollbar gets selected) it will scroll correctly with virtual scrolling. In MM clicking on the scrollbar doesn't make a difference.

The playlist window never works with virtual scrolling (acts just like MM) and I have to click on the scrollbar or click and drag the scrollbar there.

It looks like scrolling in winamp is less consistent than in MM.

I'll give that a try. I will have to install winamp to try that though.

Could you try the same on Winamp with Modern Skin and few others that uses own skinning implementation and post results in which apps it works without problems except microsoft apps?

I've tried changing just about any setting I can find in there. Same result, no scrolling with the virtual scroll regions.

I think I have the latest driver. I'll check that and post the results.

Hmmm. Interesting, it looks that somehow it triggers one old Win Bug that I had with my a4tech Mouse www-11 and incompatibility with MS-Intelli Mouse mode. In my case new Driver fixed the problem, but before driver update I have Dissabled Horizontal Scroll and Auto-Scrol, I allways use Focused (Selected item) not under mouse. So temper with settings, and try to left click before use scroll to be sure that needed scroll area i sselected.

Please note if you made some progress.

THX For info.

Note that I sent the email with the pictures to the support email (with a message saying it's for peke).

Hope that helps.

I'll try to post pictures and screenshots asap (hopefully tonight).

It's a Dell Inspiron 700M notebook.

Hi Peke,

Here is a picture of the mousepad. The round button in between the 2 mouse buttons is a 4 way scroll button (up, down, left, right). Whichever direction I click I will get a beep (like an end of document beep. Which tab(s) of the config panel would you like a screenshot of?

Could you post few ScreenShots of config Panel and Touchpad itself to MM support and say that is for me?
I have few ideas.

I can confirm that 2.5.4 doesn't fix the integrated scroll for my laptop.

Just downloaded the same version. The touchpad scrolling region still does nothing in MM.

It's really not a big issue for me. The only reason I mentioned it originally was just to in case it was the same problem as the trackpoint. (it obviously isn't :D)

problem solved with 2.5.4

Hi,

Just downloaded final version of Mediamonkey 2.5.4 and the trackpoint is working fine for me now.

Thank you for fixing it.

Best regards,

Just to make sure there's no confusion. My touchpad works fine for regular mouse actions like clicking (tapping), tap-and-drag, etc. with MediaMonkey.

It's only the scroll areas (right side of touchpad and bottom of touchpad) that don't work with MediaMonkey, in other applications those work like the scroll-wheel.
