(2) It should probably most often work fine, but can't be guaranteed.

only on the ipods that support gapless playback, right?

Right, iPod's hardware/firmware must support this feature.

How would I go about using MM3 to sync an album to be played gaplessly on my ipod?

This should work for any mp3 track, or at least tracks that are reasonable well ripped and encoded to mp3. Specifically, if you rip and encode a track from CD to mp3 using MM, it should then play gaplessly on iPod.

Im not sure what this means. How would I go about using MM3 to sync an album to be played gaplessly on my ipod?
