How simple could it be lol

On the list is a choice that is called General: Focus tracklist on currently playing item.
I chose Ctrl+space as the hotkey and it doesn't route you through the Now Playing node either.
No its not that simple, because "we" are talking about the library-list:

As
Eyal said,
the mentioned script is again a different function though: jumping just to the "Current Playing"-entry in the Music Explorer Tree showing only the playing song.
Unfortunately I am not a coder, but here is my advice:
Great would be a script which does the following steps
as long as it is activated (=installed) and the next song is starting to play:
http://www.abload.de/img/scriptcy03.jpg
- Showing all items within a location you can choose in the Music Explorer Tree in the library-window (userfriendly, because it'd be possible to choose "Genre" as well for instance) [red]
- Opening up the path of the folder/location of the current playing item [= clicking on +], but not marking the folder as the library would only show the content of the folder then (and closing other location at the same time [= clicking on -], to keep it tidy during listening) [yellow]
- Jumping to the actual song playing and highlight...
(1)... this item at the top in the library-window (in the "Show Album Art with details"-Mode); [darkblue]
(2)... in the middle of the library (in the "Show Details"-Mode);
(3)... just the cover (in the "Show Album Art"-Mode).
As an advantage for users I reckon it would be a bit easyier to handle big libraries (going slightly closer to the functionality of a library in iTunes). The clou: if you start searching, the results will be shown as normal in the library-window, but as soon as the next song starts playing you see the whole library again (with the higlighted item of course).
