Thanks for the info Rusty. I'll have to check the timestamps, don't know if or how they would change. I wonder if that is a deficiency that will be overcome in the Locate Moved/Missing function? With that constraint, it seems to be pretty useless in anything other than perfectly controlled enviroments. With changing machines, swapping hard drives and sharing libraries routine scenarios, it's current implementation leaves much to be desired. I still love MM, it's better than anything else out there, but this seemingly simple problem without a solution is really frustrating...
