Gone back to MM 3.2.5 for the time being. The error makes search impossible. Petty because MM 4 has some nice sharing features. Did not like the new look and feel, but that is personal I guess. Thanks for the support.

Now sent twice via the debug program. Too long for this post.

Once reproduced, save the log in DBGView and send it to support.

Now installed debug. Waiting for an error to happen. Usually when you restart MM the error disappears for a while and then pops up again.

How does it fail to do so?

Unfortunately http://www.mediamonkey.com/sw/MediaMonkey_Debug.exe will not install on my PC

It's best to send a debug log for this error to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69

acces violation since upgrading to MM4

by vliegh » Sun Nov 20, 2011 2:04 pm

Ever since I upgraded to MM4 I get lost of "Acces violation" errors. Actually only when I start typing something in the "search" box. I never had the problem in MM 3.x.

System info: Intel core 2 quad cpu q6600 at 2.4 Ghz; Ram 3GB; windows vista Home Premiun SP2 32 bits

Any thoughts?

Thanks and kind regards,
Richard de Vliegh
