WiFi sync does work correctly in certain situations. If I select only one reasonably small playlist, recently added tracks with 13 tracks, the sync will work correctly. If I pick a bigger playlist, good rock with 1004 tracks, it delays for a moment and then starts to analyze the tracks, pausing for a very long time when it appears to be 100% complete. If I pick a bigger list, rated 3+ with 1274 tracks, it fails without trying to analyze. It's almost as though there's a timeout that either MMA or MMW is using to determine if the connection timed out and that's what causes the fail. All of these test cases did not require a transfer of content, this just required MMA to analyze the list.
I should note that I did reorganize my playlists so there is no embedding at this point. I have not deleted the playlists off of MMA yet, but I plan on doing so just to force MMA/MMW to rebuild them on the Droid.
