Last ditch attempt was to try using a different type of sync for USB and WiFi. I have USB set to sync all files I want on the Droid and delete if not supposed to be there. I set WiFi to sync only my playlist containing recently added tracks and don't delete anything. By doing this, I got a sync and no errors. I uploaded a log just in case someone wanted to see the difference.
I did notice that in 126 the playlists sync differently though. In the past, any sync'ed playlist went to the root. In 126, it appears that nested playlists are possible. I'm thinking about deleting all files and letting it try again just to see if starting from scratch will help on 126. Thoughts?

I see this with v126 also. WiFi synch fails (timeout). The error dbox shows, listing the failed tracks. The OK button is unresponsive, ie. does not close the dbox.bkenobi69 wrote:I should also note that when sync fails on 126, the 'ok' button does not do anything. In order to clear the dialog I had to use the back button.

Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.

Nested Playlists have been around for a while (to my dismay).

A while is probably the last time sync worked correctly for me. I did notice that the new tracks brought ratings (usb sync did not). Wifi sync also downloaded play count info for some songs. I played a lot more than updated play count, so i'm not sure why some updated while others did not.

FWIW, wifi sync seems to be working for me on 126 w/ confirm delete enabled, and my playlists seem to be updating.
Remember when Last.fm had those cool imagegen charts for use in signatures?
Re: New version 124 no longer does wireless sync
WiFi sync does work correctly in certain situations. If I select only one reasonably small playlist, recently added tracks with 13 tracks, the sync will work correctly. If I pick a bigger playlist, good rock with 1004 tracks, it delays for a moment and then starts to analyze the tracks, pausing for a very long time when it appears to be 100% complete. If I pick a bigger list, rated 3+ with 1274 tracks, it fails without trying to analyze. It's almost as though there's a timeout that either MMA or MMW is using to determine if the connection timed out and that's what causes the fail. All of these test cases did not require a transfer of content, this just required MMA to analyze the list.
I should note that I did reorganize my playlists so there is no embedding at this point. I have not deleted the playlists off of MMA yet, but I plan on doing so just to force MMA/MMW to rebuild them on the Droid.
