Although Extension isn't available as sort you can manually sort the AutoPlaylist when viewing it on File Type (this would need to be done each time you view the AutoPlaylist) to get that result.

Ahhh - now I see. The column heading is [i]File Type[/i]. That's what I was looking for.
Would still like to see this as a sort criteria, that that's a start.

Well, not on my copy of MM ( 5.0.1.2433)
There is an [b]OTHER[/b] in the selection criteria. Within this, [b]TYPE [/b]selects for things like [i]music[/i], [i]podcasts[/i], etc. Not encoding type.
There is no other in the sort criteria.

Maybe I'm missing something - it happens.

It's available as Extension in the Others Criteria section.

[b]File-type [/b] (think mp3 or flac) is not available in auto-playlist, either as a selection or sort criteria.
Am I missing something. Is this a feature, or a bug??
