Re: Autocomplete doesn't work right
Just FYI, I think I figured out the problem. Autocomplete will behave strangely if you don't add a space after the semicolon when inserting an additional artist. The space gets added automatically anyway after saving the tag (as in previous versions), but now if you don't put the space in manually ...

Autocomplete doesn't work right
I just upgraded to 3.1 (Gold) and noticed the autocomplete feature now works for multiple artists in the Artist field. However, I have noticed that it behaves very strangely. When I begin typing an artist's name, sometimes the autocomplete will find a name that matches the first character, then jump ...

Re: Clickable artist names (not just Album Artist)
It does not work that way for me and I'd venture to say that you only *think* it's working correctly because you see the artist you "clicked" on. I just tested this now by hacking an album artist field with an additional artist that already exists in my db: David Bowie . The other artist however ...

Re: Clickable artist names (not just Album Artist)
For various reasons, I don't use the multi-item separator in the artist field. I understand what you're asking for though. However, you can't do what you want in the album artist field either. The link created is for both (or all) artists not each artist separately. Actually, for me, when I ...

I don't see any voting about hyperlinking in the forum. The only vote I see is about toolbar support. Am I looking in the wrong place?sayad wrote:thats a cool idea , but the thing is will the moderators agree to hyperlink ?
You see you can have a public voting on this in the sticky part of the forum.

Re: Clickable artist names (not just Album Artist)
The "Find more from same Artist" function only returns tracks with that exact combination of artists. I want to be able to find all of my tracks from that same individual artist, regardless of what other artists are on the same track. For example: Track: "Say, Say, Say" Artist: Michael Jackson; Paul ...

Clickable artist names (not just Album Artist)
I would love for MediaMonkey to support hyperlinks on Artist names. Currently when browsing the library, in the column view the Artist/Album field has hyperlinks on both the Album Artist name and the Album name. Clicking on each creates a new playlist with all of the songs by that album artist, or ...

It just boggles my mind that the tags haven't become standardized by now. I'd think that with all the explosive growth in MP3 players, and with the increasing number of people converting their entire CD collections to MP3, there would have been a mass revolt of people upset at having to scroll past ...

I think I solved my own problem. When looking at the tag info in the file's properties in Windows, the artists are separated with semicolons, but this may just be how Windows parses it. I installed mp3tag to examine the actual tag data, and sure enough, it looks like WMP stores the tags with forward ...

MM3 not importing multi-artist tracks correctly
As I understand it, MM3 supports the tagging of multiple artists by separating each artist with a semicolon. My problem is that I am migrating to MM3 from Windows Media Player, where all of my multi-artist tracks are already correctly separated with semicolons. When MM3 monitors the folder and adds ...
