Re: [MM2+3] Change Drive-ID after moving Files to a new Drive
Thanks for the reply. I am always running as admin. I did follow a suggestion here.. and it seems to visually work.. i haven't needed to implement it just yet. REM Dim SDB REM Set SDB = CreateObject("SongsDB.SDBApplication") I added the REM on these lines. it at least looks as though it will work.

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
Whoops, my bad , you're right 44enviro. Mine's actually build 1190. So for the moment I'm resorting to using the ml_ipod plugin v3.06p7 on Winamp 5.5 for copying things to my Nano, and it works perfectly. However strangely some album covers won't show up on the 4G even though my old 3G does ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
Has there been a fix for this yet? The album art bug still exists in MediaMonkey 3.0.6.1109 with iPod Nano 4G version 1.0.3 firmware. You are using version 3.0.6.1109? 1109? are you sure thats the build you have? My build is 1190. and from what I gather for build 1190 there has been no fix. Is this ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
I discovered another bug in the chromatic and the album art.. althought the latest version of MM does in fact fix the album art for the nano 4g, but since the new firmware release of v 1.03 pc, the album art is doing what it did when v 1.02 pc. The thumbnails are getting mixed up with incorrect ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
The beta .dll provided seems to be working OK on my end. On another note, I noticed some complaints about the wrong album art showing, especially under "greatest hits" type albums. Try renaming the album to "Artist's(whoever it may be) Greatest Hits. Also rename the album folder. It worked for me ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
I'm not saying it can never be fixed, surely apple can release a firmware update that would fix the current behavior. But MediaMonkey can't update the iPod firmware! I am not sure it is a firmware issue.. it may very well be.. or just re-writing some code perhaps. You may know better than I, as I ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
If even iTunes gets the art mixed up in that situation, I doubt there's much that the MM devs can do to avoid it (outside of some workaround like renaming your albums when they're synced) I am not sure it is an easy assumption to make that if it occurs in itunes then it must be the golden rule ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
yes, it appears the album art issue that was originally brought to light was fixed, but there is still the issue with albums of the same name by different artists. I restored my 4g nano back to factory defaults. I then used itunes exclusively to import all my greatest hits albums by many different ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
Just been having same problem with album art on my new Nano 16Gb which arrived today. Just found this thread, downloaded the beta .dll file & all seems to be fixed - initial impressions at least! :D Thanks Iain Try loading different artists with same album name. Usually "greatest hits" is very ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
all my albums are full rips. Most were ripped initially using vbr with real player gold. I have since switched to MM, but have not done many rips since using MM. My collection is of 6600 CDs for a total of 89,000 tracks. I only recently began getting album art as I was always reluctant to taint that ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
Fyi, I just successfully synced 500 tracks with album art and all was ok. Note, that if you used the previous dll, you should clear all tracks from the iPod at first, so that there doesn't remain anything incorrect. Jiri Ok.. there is definitely an issue. I loaded 75 songs from itunes via a ...

Re: iPod Nano Chromatic (4th Generaion) Album art
Nevermind Jiri, I got it working. I guess I just got fed up with it all and uninstalled and reinstalled media monkey (I may have been using an older version [still version 3 but maybe 3.01 or something like that) and now all is working splendidly. Thanks a lot and sorry for the trouble. Don't put ...
