Re: Now playing freaks out on CDs
Me neither; I can confirm that it seems pretty random here too, and it really is annoying.

Re: Now playing freaks out on CDs
Nice to know I'm not alone
May be that it's inconsistent with me too; can't say for sure.
Also; it's been persisting through atleast two different windows installs; Vista SP1 x64 and Windows 7 RTM, x64.

I've had this up to and including 3.1.2.1267. Can't remember when it started...

Now playing freaks out on CDs [#5997]
This MAY be just me; but I'm having a problem when I play regular Audio CDs. IT gets the album info just fine. Lists all the songs correctly. However, when I click a track, or whenever it skips to the next track, it changes from the actualt track name to "Track 1", "Track 2" etc. Which is really ...

If you get these types of errors; process explorer will do the trick, and tell you which process is locking a file, and lets you kill that process.

It's free, and it's by Microsoft. Why they don't ship it with OSes is beyond me.

Can we pleeeeease have this included in the final MM3? Triximoto did a script at my request for MM2, which was awesome! That would be a real plus for us that use mixed albums alot...

Vista isn't Admin/no Admin, black and white, like other Windows OSes. Either way it's restrictive when it comes to system access, so if it doesn't reg the .dll properly, it's probably down to errors with the install script. Though I don't get it myself, with x64 Vista... Maybe issues with the dll ...

Not sure what exactly you are referring to but compatibility issue could be the problem, as MM work on Both x86 and x64 without problems. Anyway I'm glad it works now. Yeah, but the x64 version of the ASIOout-plugin doesn't work with MM; probably because MM is a x86 application. Anywho, it works ...

Ah, we may be on to something. But: I tried DLing the x64 version of the plugin (assuming that's the one I need), and it seems to load OK, but once I click play it goes bananas! Just fast-forwards through the track and stops responding to commands. I get audio, but it plays through a 8minute track ...

Nope, it doesn't mute, it just doesn't play. The equaliser and everything stands completely still, but I can access all the menus and click all the buttons, so it doesn't hang. I'm using the latest RC on Vista x64 (w SP1, but I've had the problem the entire time), playing through an Edirol FA-66 ...

I keep having to restart MM (soundcard issue)
...this might be a problem I had with v2 too, but I'm not 100% sure of that. The deal is, MM is working just fine, plays everything without a glitch. BUT when I pause it or stop it for a minute or more maybe, it stops completely and won't play any tracks. No error message, the program doesn't hang ...

One thing I'm REALLY missing...
...is a larger clickable area for skipping through a song. I go through quite a number of songs and do alot of skipping; and in v2 this area was decent size, in v3 you have to click EXACTLY on the 2mm thick line, which is really tedious! To most this probably sounds like a stupid request, but PLEASE ...
