album art link to now playing
For a while my album art was synching with the currently playing song rather than the song selected in the library. It seems to have reverted back. I know that I changed an option somewhere but I have looked around and cannot find where. Can someone please remind me where I found this option in the ...

Media Monkey from Java
Does anyone know how I can access the functionality of MM from a Java application? I would like to be able to open an instance of MM and play a specific playlist. Ideally this would not require the full instance of MM to be running but if it does I would like to at least have it hidden. Either way I ...

Just a comment. Between the image that you posted: Thu Jan 05, 2006 4:50 pm and the final version there was a big difference in the appearance of the buttons under the play button. I thought the first version looked cleaner. Of course my opinion doesn't always match that of the majority... :o Great ...

Media Monkey & Winamp volume differences.
For a project I was working on I was trying out the script located here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4288 that allows me to send a track to winamp instead of playing it in MM. However, there is a huge difference in the volume levels between these players. In Winamp I have the ...

New Script - Remove Last Play Info
The other night I accidently left Media Monkey playing while I was downstairs. To make it worse it was my playlist of new songs that I haven't listened to yet. I wanted to remove the last played date and play counter for those songs that played while I wasn't there so I created this script ...

DJ30
I have a Dell DJ30 and I get similar results. The device synchronizes nicely but the playlists do not. I tried to manually copy the playlist over but I could not get that to work either. If anyone has an idea on how to get some playlists onto the device I would greatly appreciate it!

the ini file
I am assuming that if I make a change to the ini file while MM is running I would need to restart it in order for it to see the changes in the file. Is this correct or is there a way to have MM reload the ini file?
Thanks again.

Thanks again.

I decided that I really don't know what I am talking about! At any rate I did make some progress thanks to your help. I created a new thread in the Scripting forum to ask more specific questions. That one is located here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7596 Thanks again for all of ...

Return to beginning of song
I originally asked a question about returning to the beginning of a track in the need help forum which solved some of the problems but it turned into a scripting thread so I am being more specific here. The original thread is located here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7558 I am ...

Testing Auto Scripts
I am starting to learn MM scripting by editing a script I already was using. This script is an auto script with a sub onStartUp section. Is there a way that I can test what I wrote without having to shutdown MM? It is really disturbs my listening enjoyment when my songs keep getting interrupted :x ...

The solution really doesn't have to address the multimedia keys on the computer, it just needs to intercept the current functionality of previous. I don't know if you can create a script that would run when the previous button was pressed but if you could then what I had in mind was something like ...
