Media Monkey from Java

Does anyone know how I can access the functionality of MM from a Java application?

I would like to be able to open an instance of MM and play a specific playlist. Ideally this would not require the full instance of MM to be running but if it does I would like to at least have it hidden. Either way I would like it to be independent of my MM use.

Any thoughts or ideas?
