Album level rating
Is there a field where one can select a star rating at the album level? (similar to track level rating)

Any chance it could be on the wishlist? Something I've wanted since first using MM.

Re: Album level rating
auto playlist with rule to pick albums by use of code in one of the custom tags make same code for every song on one album make different codes for each album.
now auto playlist rule for picking songs from those albums with rating you want to hear.
you could make the code for the album also the same rating for each song you think that album is.
say elvis pressly greatest hits vol 1.
you like all songs on it about 3 stars.
but there are 2 songs you like as a 5 star song.
so that album rating would be 3.5 stars
you could use a code in the custom tag as 3.5stars.
just pick a tag that is not being used for any other codes to add to a playlist.
or that playist check might take part of the rating code for a code you wanted to put the song in another playlist.
thats the best thing i can think of doing until they get or decide to put an album rating tag in to monkey?

Also comment, name and rating fields added at the song(composition)-level.just_any_1 wrote:Any chance it could be on the wishlist? Something I've wanted since first using MM.
And a rating field added at composer-level and artist-level would be nice.

Well, I don't know about that stuff. I don't think I've seen anyone other than you request something like that.windcrest77 wrote:Also comment, name and rating fields added at the song(composition)-level.just_any_1 wrote:Any chance it could be on the wishlist? they asked about the comment text area on the first tab of the properties to be put there a long time agowindcrest77 wrote:Also comment, name and rating fields added at the song(composition)-level.just_any_1 wrote:Any chance it could be on the wishlist? Something I've wanted since first using MM.

i think they could not do that so then some one wrote that script i said to move the data from there to one
of the custom tags.
i think the script is still listed in the all scripts thread? not sure but it might be worth a look at and see if it still works in mm 3.2
or mm 4 beta?
