Hi elton,
We're considering adding this, but can you tell me exactly what is happening? Also, what device, version of android, version of MMA (I'm assuming you're using 189?), and what settings you have for 'Show in notifications bar'.
Thanks.

Re: MMA won't close
It doesn't matter if I touch back buttom a few times in the app until it closes, or if I touch stop in the notification bar, it seems to close, but it comes back after a time when the phone locks and is unlocked. The app widget pops up after one second or so, before I can digit my PIN to unlock the phone, is quite annoying. This happens a few times before it finally closes for good.rusty wrote:Hi elton,

Re: MMA won't close
elton all your spec's are the same here only i have the motorola photon, and i don't have any trouble with the mma restarting.
i'm wondering if you need an update of the firmware? as this seems to be a model specific error. which means it could be some other app you have on your system causing the interferince.?
list of apps i suggest you get. avg mobile antivrus for the cell phone, and avg cleaner for the phone.
try those and see if they find anything causing troubles. if you already have those programs let us know and tell us what else runs all the time on your phone you might need an task manager to use for closeing unfriendly apps, that means apps that are okay to use but might not like other apps on your system and might run all the time causing issues. i use task manager from aesop systems on this phone. maybe that is why i don't have the issue you have and it won't help fixing mma. but i don't believe it is the fault of mma. so this task manager solves the issue here and i don't even see it.

Re: MMA won't close
Elton,
It sounds as if you have enabled [x] Show MediaMonkey when screen is locked (which is why it appears when the lock screen shows up).
The way this works is that it'll appear only if MMA is running (you can tell if it's running by looking for the MMA icon in the notifications bar). Since MMA is set to run for 3 minutes after you've terminated it, that means that for 3 minutes after you've BACKed out of MMA, it'll still appear on the lock screen. To change this, you can set MMA to run for e.g. 0 or 10 seconds in the notifications bar.
Let me know if that does the trick for you.
Thanks.

p.s. the reason why we set a default of 3 minutes is in case you connect/disconnect/reconnect bluetooth, in which case you'd probably expect MMA to continue running so that it can automatically re-connect with the bluetooth device. If you take the approach of setting it to run for 0/10 seconds, then you can use something like one of the tools below to automatically run MMA:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ones&hl=en
