Love the player, have been using the PC version for a long time.
I have an issue where when I pause the player (either through the default lock screen, widgets in the home screen or by removing the headset) and leave the player for a period of time (sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes overnight but seems to be more consistent with the latest version), when I restart the player it will finish the current song then stop. When I press play again (next song isn't automatic) the now playing playlist restarts from the first song again instead of the next song (originally started via tracks \ play shuffle icon). I thought it might be something to do with using other applications or charging while it was paused but that doesn't seem to make a difference. You can scan through the playlist and eventually once the list loads you can find the song you were up to and start from the same place again but this is very time consuming.
Using a HTC One, Android version 4.3.
Debug log submitted Y2XTNKF7EN.

Re: Now Playing resets progress after long(ish) pause
sounds like the cache is dumping out the information that is to be used to restart the program but is keeping the already in ram data so it will start the ram stuff but has to restart once the song in ram is finished.
if that is the reason i don't think it's mma but is the time in htc that is set to clear the cache.?

Sounds like it. Any idea on a way to fix it? Couldnt find anything in the settings about cache clear times. Just uploaded another log just after it happened. M87ba7u8ht. This problem is enough for me to not use mma, especially when trying to find a song a few thousands into the now playing screen.

Cool didnt expect a software fix quickly was hoping there was something that could be done in the android settings. Youre right about the cache cleanup, went from 8mb to 400kb when the issue happens.

I am running MMA Beta 1.0.4.0222, on Android 4.3.
Displaying a play list and tapping on play shuffle starts a random song, but it keeps repeating that first random song.
Looking at the expanded Playing now screen, it shows the repeat icon in orange (two arrows going in circles on the right side) and the shuffle icon in white (arrows crossing each other on the left side) if I tap the shuffle icon, then it goes into shuffle.
Minor bug report.

Sounds like you have Repeat enabled and thus it repeats.
Using Shuffled Play will add the files in view in random order to the Now Playing. It won't change the Repeat or Shuffle status of the Player.

I must have tapped the Repeat by accident.
I understand it now, Play Shuffle to play in random order, tap first song in play list to play in order displayed in the list.
