Re-size artwork and improve layout in albumart view
I know it's not possible now but it would be nice if in a future version of Mediamonkey we were able to make album covers in album art view smaller in order to fit more of our library on the screen at any given time. It would also be nice if the album art view grid were completely filled rather than containing partial rows with empty spots due to the way the covers are alphabetized.
Re: Re-size artwork and improve layout in albumart view
I agree that it would be nice to be able to resize covers in both Album Art views.

Re: Re-size artwork and improve layout in albumart view
i have not tried it but in the tweakuixp program from ms they have in there a way to change the size of the thumbnails.
now since the thumbnails are shown in the explorer by what appears to be the same way the covers are in the album art with details view is in mediamonkey, then changing that size might adjust the covers in monkey?
not sure how to change the thumbnail size in windows 7 or vista.
but if you really want to make them smaller then the 100 x 100 pixels they are now,
i'd try that thumbnail resize and see if it worked.
but it does not bother me they only show up with an extra space now.
i treat it asa it is the same as the gutter in the office page set up. and don't worry about it.

Re: Re-size artwork and improve layout in albumart view
It seems strange that the Art Browser is able to produce small thumbnails of the artwork, and yet it is not possible to implement this in the Show Art view. Are you able to give us non-techies an understanding of why this is.
Thanks.

Has this issue been re-addressed in the years since?
I did a site-search here, but didn't see anything newer.
I too would like smaller thumbs, to get more per page.

Re: Re-size artwork and improve layout in albumart view
+1 for me. Being able to resize the art similar to the size of "tiles" in Win explorer would be nice!
You expressed uncertainty about 7 & 8, but I can confirm it doesn't work that way in 7.
If MM merely reflects explorer in XP, are you suggesting if you change explorer view to "tiles", images in MM will show at that size?rovingcowboy wrote:i have not tried it but in the tweakuixp program from ms they have in there a way to change the size of the thumbnails.
