I think it would be great to be able to open playlists in their own window. This would allow simultaneously displaying the contents of multiple playlists (in their own windows). People using mediamonkey to DJ (such as myself) would find this useful when setting up new playlists based on pre-existing playlists. Of course, this can currently be done using the tree view but it requires allot of scrolling and the user cannot see the result of moving tracks between playlists without closing the current view and moving to the new view then back and forth (sometimes as in my case, moving between a number of different playlists). If we could simultaneously open each playlist of interest in its own window, it would be enormously more streamlined. Actually, this is a standard capability in iTunes.
What do other folks think about this idea?
