I cannot remove/delete tracks when I navigate to Library\Artist\<Artist>\<Album> node. I just upgraded to 1208 from 1204 and still have the issue.
Running 3.1.0.1208 (beta) and could do this before the upgrade.
I can still remove tracks if I goto Library\Location, \Album, \Genre, and maybe others, but when I goto Library\Artist\<Artist>\<Album> I cannot. If I goto just \Artist\<Artist> the Remove option is enabled, as well as under the other nodes. But when I choose a specific Album from the tree and then right click a track Remove\Del is grayed out\disabled.

Re: 1208: Cannot remove tracks from the Library\Artist\... node
I'm unable to reproduce with 1208 on Vista Premium.
Re: 1208: Cannot remove tracks from the Library\Artist\... node
Same here, it works fine for me. (1208 on XP)

I wonder if it's some odd issue with Vista x64 Ultimate. Anyone else out their running it?
I just tried swapping out my keyboard with a standard "wired" USB keyboard, that has multimedia controls, and it still does not work
. Media Player Plays/Pauses/Skips tracks just fine with either keyboard.
I hope this if fixed before release since I've made alot of metadata changes since I upgraded and I can't go back to the old version without losing those changes, by reverting back to my old DB backup.

And this is really original MM nodes? I.e it's not any custom made nodes (Magic Nodes, etc..)
And you have tried the normal stuff as restart MM and/or computer?

Whoa, wait a minute. Upon second read, this is reproducable. I got it in my head you were talking about the album nodes themselves, but on second reading I read slower and picked up "But when I choose a specific Album from the tree and then right click a track Remove\Del is grayed out\disabled." I see the problem now.
I've added it into Mantis as a regression per your report. Might you specify where the regression took place? You mention being able to do it prior to the upgrade, but make it sound like it was present in 1204 as well. Thanks.

I tried with both 1204 and 1208 and can't reproduce this issue either.

It is indeed reproducible. I, like you, just tested it by right clicking on the nodes not the tracks. Oh, well I guess one should read the instructions better...

Right you are, Bex. Haha.
Re: Cannot remove tracks from the Library\Artist\... node[#5141]
And I just tested under the Artist & Album Artist node and this one doesn't present this bug.
