MM4 : pasting text in auto-organize format field breaks del
After pasting text with CTRL+V in the auto-organize "destination" field (to enter a format text) the delete key displays a weird behavior : instead of deleting text selected or where the cursor is positioned, it deletes stuff in random places.

Re: MM4 : pasting text in auto-organize format field breaks
Here's a screenshot :

What I did in the second screenshot is just select the field after F:\jAZZ\ . Just select the text. I didn't type anything or paste anything. Instead of highlighting the selection, it yields another part of my mask code. Pressing the delete key deletes the part of the mask that appears highlighted.
Hopes that clears things up a little bit.

Send me mask you're using, please.

Re: MM4 : pasting text in auto-organize format field breaks
Sent you a PM.
The behavior I explained with the screenshot is not the only one but I bet they're related to the same problem. If I place my cursor after a given field I want to delete and press the delete key, then again another part of my mask is deleted.
Let me know if you can replicate this as well.
Thank you!

Strange as i can't reproduce. I've used your mask and using mouse i've selected exactly same part as you've described and work as it should.

Re: MM4 : pasting text in auto-organize format field breaks
Man, that's odd. I can replicate it every time, on different tracks, different locations etc...
I use a single 21" monitor so the "auto-organize" window is never big enough to accommodate the entire length of my code. I mention this because I just checked and the problem also happens when I type mask manually and the length of it goes beyond the size of the box.

that seems to be a ghost image of one of the choices that showed up when you selected that before you clicked paste.
i have had that happen at times for me on pasting items of text in also. so its just a ghost as afar as it looks to me.

I never heard of a similar problem.
How would I get rid of it then?

I can't replicate--perhaps this is related to: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=6897
