1343: Playlist view modes not persistent [#6961 #7137]

Post by eepman »

Problem 1: I open a playlist from the tree and it is always by default Album Art + Details mode.

Problem 2: I then switch to list/details mode which has a slew of problems including playlist order # being shown as Skipped #, and the wrong columns activated. I then "fix" this by switching to a previous tab and back again (which would lead me to assume the problem is with refreshing).

Problem 3: I hit the refresh button, push f5 or select it in the menu, but the view mode changes to Album Art + Details again.

-> therefore neverending loop

Would very much appreciate if you could select columns for playlist tree node such as you can with Music or Videos and they would be persistent.

OS: Windows 7 x64
EDIT: Right click "Playlist" node in tree, goto Options->Edit View and nothing happens at all.

Problems 1-3, You currently need to change View in a Music node to have the change in view stick in the Playlist node: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7137

Problem 2 seems to be http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=6961

Can anyone confirm that http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7137 isn't fixed for them? The developers can't reproduce, but here the issue remains on 1346.

Ok, bizarre, I just noticed I had about 5 or 6 instances of MediaMonkey.exe running in the task manager. After I closed them all and started MM4 again, I can reproduce this.
