shuffle button error is back.

it seems the playing for 20 to 30 minutes with the shuffle button clicked to on. will now just stop the player from playing
songs. not give wrong data anymore, it just stops.

but it keeps playing as long as that shuffle button is clicked off.



again no debug report panel popped up, the error was just to stop playing as if it just clicked stop, i could restart the player with out trouble.

Can't reproduce here, just played the whole day on shuffle without issues. Make sure you're not using pause/stop hotkeys accidentally.

not using keys for anything when i test i only play music no other stuff going on that is not needed to run the computer.
i dont even touch the mouse when it is testing.

it just up and stopped.

oh this is the same error in likemm's post i was confirming in. the one i thought you were telling me to make seperate posts for the errors.?

i just moved it out of that other post into its own thread.

however i have not tested this today was busy doing what petrcbr wanted me to get. and check out the new exe he sent me.
so it might be fixed in that new exe he sent i'll check this later and see if it is fixed but being 1230 am i got to get some sleep i'll just do it in the morning.

just sent in report to petrcbr and rusty on this as it did happen again.

1. i tested in this new exe that was sent to me. and it stopped playing in 30 minutes.
2. i then started the debugview program and then started mm 4 and it did not stop at all i stopped mm 4 in an hour.
3. i then restarted mm 4 in a minute and this time right clicked on the playlist name and clicked play now.
4. sat here for half hour did not stop so i let it run until it stopped. sure enough it stopped 1hour and 10 minutes later.
just switched songs and stopped playing so it did.?

now there is a long debug log to look at and i'm sure they will find more then one issue in it but i know they will find
this one that stops the playback.

Are you sure it's not stopping playback solely because shuffle has went through the entire Now Playing list?

thats kind of a remark saying are you stupid and not putting in a large enough playlist?

but to answer you're question.

its got over 80 hours of songs in the rock playlist which is what i was playing, so i think it had enough songs.

plus the continuous button was on.

well we found the reason it is happing but now its up to rusty or one of the other developers to figure a fix for it? or to find the exact cause of the reason and tell proper one to fix it.

reason seems to be one of the scripts in the scripts folder i have so i sent the whole folder to rusty as i only have two
user created scripts. if it is one of them i think rusty will tell the author it needs fixed.
if it is one of the default scripts i think rusty will fix it.
