"Show Art with Details" triggers very high CPU utilization

MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1397 debug buld,
i can't turn off "Show art with details" in View menu.
Sorry if this issue was already reported, but i didn't understand how report bugs like that

correction:
this problem in main menu bar, but this can turn off in "Show details" near search panel

When I switch to Show Art with Details MM just freezes, then stops responding, and I have no choise but to kill the process.
When I relaunch of course it remembers my display settings so it crashes again, before I can switch Show Art with Details off. Vicious circle...

I use Vista 32-bit SP2. It's probably not reproduceable or you would have encountered this problem already.

I have also problems with a View containing art as "Show Art with Details" and "Show Art" in build 1404.

It's now very unresponsive, when you draw the slider in the main window and the memory usage raises from about 95MB to over 400MB and if you opens new tab it raises to over 700MB.

I've have about 22,000 tracks in the database and the nodes chosen above was from about 5,000 to 9,000 tracks.

This behaviour is the same with and without skins. No scrips installed or running. Fresh install. MediaMonkey running as administrator.

I didn't have this problem with build 1403.

4GB Ram

I've a debug log, but where do you prefer I upload this?

I've have also send you an error report, when the application froze, while scrolling down in the main window.

Are you still experiencing this freeze in the most recent builds (1407)? There have been a number of improvements to the Album Art handling.

If yes, please send the debug log by opening a ticket on our support page, OR PM me with a link to the log.

I just installed .1407 which appears to have fixed this - for me anyway. CPU usage is still high but not critical... and no crash (as of yet).

It is a little better with newest releases and now 1407.

I still have problems with the slider in the main window - it's still unresponsive.

How much memory usage, should we expect with the newest release 1407 and 2 tabs open with 5 + 10k tracks.
In my system the memory usage is 527MB, without scripts running and without playing. Is this normal??

It's so much. I''ve tried 1 tab open with ~5500 track in AA+Detail view and memory usage is about 90MB.

Hmm I thought so. With 1 tab it's 257MB ram here.

What can be the cause to such a high memory usage??

Have you tried regular (instead of debug) build ?

Yeah on and off I have and with the latest regular 1408 version it is

without tabs open: 84MB
with 1 tab: 239MB (5281 tracks)
with 2 tabs: 494MB (5281 + 9956 tracks)
