I've got a slight problem with MediaMonkey (V3.10256), which is shortening all of the comments that are copied into media files to something like this:
"The omniscient friend you know from your computer and laser watch takes over Radio 4 for 30 minutes in a unique experiment in broadwebcasting.
Written by Nick Doody and Matt Kirshen with Carey Marx..."
The original text is much longer, and stops mid-flow with the ellipsis added by MediaMonkey. Is there a way to make it stop doing this please? Thanks!

send a copy of the song you wish that is doing this to one of the developers and let them see what is going on with the file it might be just the file format's way of working. and monkey might not be able to do anything about it.

it does appear to be due to batch editing of tags with mm and not a corrupted file. As this is also the same symptoms as the truncated lyrics bug http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 9&p=216193 which has been reported fixed for the next release i'd assume the devs would pick up on this and make a similar fix. is it happening more on the first file tagged in many?

Thanks for the responses - the problem does seem to be the same as experienced in the other posts.
I've only noticed it in MP3s, as it's the only format that I use for files with long comments. Where the comment is identical across an album I think it's just the first track that's affected, but with albums (for example podcasts like In Our Time) where every track has its own description, every track is afflicted.
