Autosync/Playlist question

Post by Kylau »

So I just bought a new Sansa Express because I got tired of having a huge amount of music on me at once and only listening to a playlist I updated frequently with my favorite songs (30gb Creative Zen Vision: M) and now I have a problem:

I have an auto playlist set up that gives me 950mb of songs that have a rating of 5 and autosync that list to my player whenever it's plugged in. That makes it super easy for me to tag songs I'd like to put on my player and untag songs I would like to remove. For some reason though when I plug the player in it just adds ALL the songs in the playlist to the device. It doesn't make doubles but it syncs the whole list over from the start. Is there a way to make it only delete songs that are missing from the MM playlist and add songs that are missing from the device?

I took a look but I don't think it's going to solve my problem. Just checked my player and the time is correct. I have synched all my 5 star songs (all genres) to the Zem Micro, when I tried to resynch, after removing some songs from the 5 star list in MM, I get the message that there is not enough room on the device even though there are fewer songs to synch.

Obviously some songs are getting copied. I don't have any other playlists checked to be synched.

This means I'm unable to create any other playlists. For example, I could create 5 star rock playlist. All the songs are already on the Micro, but they'll be copied and won't fit.
