Trouble with resizing Playlist (B3-RC2) [F4010 RC4]
The Playlist is fixed at the bottom of the main window (View =Details).
After I maximized the Playlist to the topmost position, I can not resize it. The spot for the mouse is out of the screen.
The "+" in the Player let the playlist disappear totally but not appear again.
I have to enable the Track Browser View and close it's window to find the Playlist again.

Trouble resizing playlist
Timo,
I'm not quite sure I understand this. In the main panel, I'm able to move the Now Playing list to:
-The top of the tracklist and resize
-The bottom of the tracklist and resize it
-The right border (can't resize vertically as it takes up the entire vertical space).
Perhaps a couple of pictures would help clarify this...
Thx.

Sorry, my English isn't the best.rusty wrote:Timo,

The tracklist is an the bottom and I resize it. I pull the haedline to the topmost position (the Headline is out of the visible range!. The same would happen, when I make the whole MM window very small.)
After releasing the mouse button, I don't have a handle to the playlist anymore.

When you now use the menu to 1. hide and 2. show the playlist, it will never appear.
It would be a nice idea, not to try this with a maximized MM window. That pobably will prevent you from experiments with opening/closing the TrackBrowser to see your playlist again.

Now Playing list titlebar problem
Timo,
From what I see in the image that you posted, the Title bar is still there--it just moves to the side. This is done in order to save screen real-estate.

Hi Rusty, thank you for the fast response.
Let me specify the problem a little more:
Not the TitleBar is hidden, but the Headline (column titles) with the upper boarder of the NowPlaying window isn't available. And this is the lever to resize the window.
I only can drag it (black TitleBar) to the left, so that it's position is e.g. between Nav Tree and AlbumArt.
After dragging it back to the right side, its completely hidden.
Does the NowPlaying window take over the role of the Main window?
The NowPaying list fills the complete right side and the Main List containing only 4 rows lies OVER the
now Playing list in the middle (vert.) of the screen.
That happens, when I try to make the NowPlaying window visible again via the TrackBrowser view.
(a screenshot will follow, when my DSL is back [grrr!]. I'd changed the provider)

Now Playing gets messed up
Timo,
It sounds as if the Now Playing list is somehow getting moved to a position that causes it to behave incorrectly. There was a bug like this prior to beta 3, but I'd thought that it had been resolved--I can't find any 'illegal' locations to which the Now Playing list can be moved.
Anyone else?

Easy to replicate. Take Now Playing and put it on the bottom below the Available Tracks list. with the player below NP. Now.. grab the top portion of the NP list and drag it up past the top of the window. more effective and easier to replicate if MM is not Maximized. See below for a full pic of the window.

Notice the Collom headers are missing from NP and there is no scroll bar? at first i actually pushed the Avail Track list off the top of the window then after open/close the track list was back. as you can see.. track 12 is the first one listed but the entire album is in the hidden area above. I have the full 12 tracks of the Bon Jovi - New Jersey album in the NP list... ya just can't see them or the headers.

After fooling around since the last post i was able to restore everything as i did a little creative window stretching and moving of items to get to the point i could access the grab point to resize the NP list again, i was able to restore the headers. but it does let you pull it past the top of the available space.
An other accident
Here is an other funny accident.
How would you repair this?
The NowPlaying window is completely filling the MainPane, impossible to drag the TitleBar somewhere. No headers there to resize it.
The TrackList is only a little bar with no handle to move.
The TrackBrowser view is switched on, but it's not visible (switching on/off doesn't change anything).
When I close NowPlaying with the X in the TitleBar, the TrackBrowser takes the place of NowPlaying and vice versa.

I solved it, as I unchecked Player in the View menu.

Bug still exists in B4
B4 makes the same trouble

Still buggy in RC2
Because NP still dissappears, when some (crazy) actions are made, here a video (650K) for download
http://yourfiles.biz/?d=0C68408111
1. Make your MM window smaller than your screen.
2. Let NP dock at the bottom.
3. resize NP and drag the upper boarder (virtually) out of the MM window
4. Drag the menu bar of NP over the Nav. tree back to the MainList
--> NP is gone and can not be reactivated with standard actions

Got it. Thx--added to the todo list.
