2.3 Beta 1 (822) - Album art from Amazon bugs

First of all - excellent feature - being able to add an image to the tag so easily.

I just noticed a couple of things:-

1) If you add an album from Amazon & there isn't one (on Amazon) it adds a blank cover.

2) You are able to add multiple tracks to look up tags on Amazon, however it will only display the details for one track. If you are not careful & you leave all the ticks in for each track (bottom window) you will update ALL tracks with the details in the top window (just one of the tracks).

3) Is it possible to have the choices about where you download the album cover (tag or folder) in the Options? This way you would not have to answer the same question each time you update a tag.

4) Are you meant to be able to lookup & update multiple tracks at once? This would save an awful lot of time if you could.

1&3) Will be fixed in the next release.

2&4) This auto-tagger is supposed to be used for multiple tracks from the same album. This way you can easily tag all tracks of an album in just seconds. I recomend browsing your collection by Location nodes and auto-tag whole album folders this way.

Hi Jiri,

thanks for the above. I appreciate the way that you can tag a whole album at a time, however can you not do this by updating one of the album tracks selected & then making sure there is a tick in "Apply to all tracks on the album? Or does this do something different?

Also I was wondering if there could be a way to select all the tracks in 'Files to edit / Unknown album art' and get all of the album covers from Amazon to update the cover tags without updating any other tags?

- 'Apply to all tracks' wouldn't often know what to tag because before auto-tagging it can be expected that album or album artist fields aren't properly filled in.

- You can update covers only, just uncheck all checkboxes except for 'Cover' one. However, currently you cannot tag all albums at once, Amazon auto-tagger requires at least some minimal feedback in order to confirm if the correct album was found.
