Album Art Doubles when added

Post by SultanH »

When I add an album Art from a folder by drag&dropp in the "Album Art" window. That picture is added twice. So i have to keep deleting the second entry.

Hmmm Strange. When you change folder and come back it only shows one.

It seems like this is Database & Library problem/Bug.
The Image is not actually added twice. So in the "My Computer" Node it appears twice and when you refresh or change folder it shows as one image again. But in the "Library" node it doens't refresh taht until you remove from Library and add it back.

Check over
Options | Tags & Playlists | Album art | Image Location
setting whether you haven't selected
'Save image to tag (if possible) and to album folder'
in this case it is expected to be added twice (once to tag and once to the album folder).

Hi thanks for the reply. I have selected that. But why does it add it twice to the tags? It should add it once to the tags and just copy the file to the folder. right?

Yes, but starting from MM3 the filename path for the external image file is also stored in tags so that the links would not be lost when deleting DB and rescaning files.
