1134 Hang on filtered tree Artist or Album Artist

With library filtered on [Edit:] "Path/Filename contains D:\", expanding tree Artist or Album Artist nodes causes MM to hang. Opening Album or Genre is fine. On the unfiltered library, all expand fine.

This with WinXP SP2, no addins, about 12K WMAs in library.

Edit: Further info - the hang is not permanent. MM refuses all input and display repaint for 5m30s (on this Pentuim4 3.2GHz) , but then recovers and completes the expand operation.

Edit: Further info - I see the same effect on a filter that exlcudes all the Artists and Album Artists.

D:/ is not a valid windows path, try D:\ instead.

I do agree that invalid path's should not cause app freeze.

I have the same problem. When I use a filter with genre selected, MM hang for a time dependning on the number of songs. For 6000 songs this is like two minutes. Other filter selections like rating don't hang MM. This is with vista 32 premium.

I've been having this problem with the filter for quite some time (through many releases).

The main thing I wanted to do was make a filter called Classical which is defined as "Genre equals Classical." Then when I try to expand Composer I get these same hang ups.

Guest, are you using the most recent version (3.0.3.1140)? I believe this was on the fix list.

Yes, I am using 3.0.3.1140 and I am still having this problem.

Everytime I try to expand, MediaMonkey freezes and I have to close it down.

I've made some optimizations in SQL queries and now it's really fast on large libraries. Will be in next release.
