Bug in Album art window (V. 3.0.2 & 3.0.3)

Post by Fraxav »

I didn't know how to call it...
It sounds strange that I'm the first one to notice and report this...but anyway...
The album art window has a kind of graphic bug that affects the "X" in the upper right corner. Check it by yourselves:

Image

It doesn't change resizing the window while it's docked, but once you un-dock it the problem disappears (since docked and non docked windows have different title bars). Of course if you re-dock it, the problem will be back.
I noticed this problem with the 3.0.2 version. Than installed the 3.0.3 and it was still there. I'm not sure, but think this "bug" always existed.
Hope you can work on it.
Bye!

Another update: the problem simply affects all the embedded windows (Album Art, Now Playing, Track Browser, plugins that embed a window...)

NOW SOLVED :) Thanks Petr ;)

Would think that this an issue with the skin.
Does it replicate when you use a different skin?

We posted together :). This is fixed now.
Anyways, it happened only with Glided (that has the ugliest title bar for embedded windows, to me :P). Thanks for the attention ;)

Title bar will be changed soon. It is just a mash-up of some resources I had for other things. Here is how it will look like soon;

Please let me know if this isn't better. :)

Eheh, please don't take my opinion like an offense. I respect the work behind the skin. Anyway, if you change them I'm sure it will be appreciated ;)
The title bars in the screenshot are...Supremes
No, really...way better in my opinion. Sober but still modern ;)
Thanks!

Just thought I would ad to this thread

If you remove the title bar you can no longer resize it up and down and you have to guess the size to remove white space left over from the title bar

Fraxav; No, I don't take that comment for anything other than honesty - and that's what I want. :)

MoDementia; I second that problem as well.

Morten, some skins allow the album art window to be resized without the Title bar showing, like your WMP11 skin or my Zune Skin, but I haven't been able to find where in the theme editor this can be specified. Do you have any idea where to find this skin property?

Agreed, the possibility to resize windows even without the title bar would be great.
Btw...I know I already posted this request somewhere, but I feel this quite in topic: what about setting the main player as movable and resizable by default? I mean, if you don't want to move it you can leave it where it is...but if you want to move it a bit, you'll have to unpack the skin file, edit a value, rename the file...every time

blue glass skin doesn't seem to have any problem resizing the art window without the title bar either.

Hi again.
Just wanted to confirm that now the X in titlebars are fine.
Btw, I saw that you didn't add that couple of corrections to the Glided skin:
Title bars have got the same old graphic, and not the newer one posted by Morten.
Hiding the title bar of a docked window still causes the impossibility to resize that window.
I hope you are adding them soon.
Byebye.
