But as always, Backup, before any upgrades.

Agreed or I wouldn't use it otherwise.drjboulder wrote:And, yes it is Beta, but very stable.spacefish wrote:.1140 is the latest beta version. D Rock provided the link where you could download it.

lol! Really I just know how to break things.drjboulder wrote:And Spacefish knows how to test things!

Missed the link when I first saw the message. Went back, downloaded, upgraded and resync'd. All files converted and copied. Without changing anything, I didn't even remove the phone from my computer, still "Drive M" I re-sync'd. All files again converted and re-copied. In fact, it's the middle of the process now. Very frustrating.spacefish wrote:.1140 is the latest beta version. D Rock provided the link where you could download it.
Perhaps you can help, I've tried many a time to get a definitive answer to this and failed every time. What do you mean by the above? I understand the alternative "mode" to MSC is MTP, but how is it possible to configure my system to change between the two?In case it helps I am using UMS/MSC mode
I don't have an iPod, so I can't really tell you. Off the top of my head, MSC is Mass Storage Class, which is used for a removable drive connected by USB. And MTP is Media Transfer Protocol, which is Microsoft's way of implementing their DRM nonsense (Plays For Sure etc.). My clix can do either mode, selectable in the device's menus. iPods have their own Apple DRM, but I don't know how it works on a PC. Sorry.metarie wrote:mike0910,Perhaps you can help, I've tried many a time to get a definitive answer to this and failed every time. What do you mean by the above? I'm not a very advanced user, but I'm a keen learner! Please be gentle with me![]()
