Hi, i noticed some ot the files I have on my iphone didn't work: they would play for 5 seconds (no audio) and that's it...the file transferred normally, album art and all, and they were all plain 128k mp3 which played perfectly on MM.
First i thought the cause was the non-english characters, so removed them and re-transferred the files, but no luck. Then i discovered the problem lies with extensions being on Uppercase and not lower case.
I changed the case with Steegy's script, and then removed the files from the ipod and resynched it: now it works perfectly.
If you just change the extension and sync without deleting the tracks they won't work cause MM won't recognize the file as having changed.
So, devs: there should be an option to convert extension to lowercase when syncing with iphone...actually, it should be done automatically.

Agreed. And the MM failure to recognise case change as significant should be fixed too.
